Stadium Takeover utilizes the high accuracy of clocks on all cell phones. The clocks on our phones use a combination of built-in hardware and network communication to maintain accurate time. Your phone receives periodic time corrections via GPS satellites and/or network time servers, which in turn are kept in sync with atomic clocks, ensuring all of our phones are highly synchronized. At each game, a cheer starter will initiate each cheer. This results in a notification going out to each signed-in user’s phone. When the notification is accepted, the user will go to a countdown screen showing the seconds left until the cheer starts. Every device will reach zero at the same time. The cheer will automatically play simultaneously across all of the devices. We have filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office.
